Born and raised in Tokyo, Japan. Moved to New York in 2006 to attend International Center of Photography and studied Documentary and Photojournalism. After graduating from ICP, she has been exhibited in several group shows both in NY and Japan include Sombra Project and 126 Polaroid, which held in Yokohama Museum of Art. Her work is shown in major Japanese magazines such as Coyote, BRUTUS, GQ Japan, LAST, Tokyo Calendar, UOMO and more.

０６年にNYに移り住みICPにて写真を学ぶ。現在は、「Coyote」、「BRUTUS」、「GQ Japan」等に写真が掲載される一方、「New York Photo Festival」や横浜美術館での「126 Polaroid展」への参加など日米で活動中。

Victor Sira: Class Assignments for my 2012 ICP-Bard MFA seminar “The Book”For my 2012 seminar on books I made a workbook for my students with a variety of different papers, I will ask the students to finish the workbook not based on visual forms or colors, but by primarily taking in to consideration how we perceive things with our senses…Book design begins with the bringing together of various kinds of white paper. You need one kind of paper for the frontispieces, another for the cover, another for the inside cover, another for the title page, and so on…
